What is 6F2?
A grading from the national Specification for Highway Works for granular fill used in capping layers. Ours is crushed brick and block, tested and certified to it, so it can go where a specification calls for 6F2: piling mats, haul roads and sub-bases.
How much will I need?
Roughly 1.5 to 2 tonnes for every cubic metre, depending on the material and how well it is compacted. Give us the area and the depth and we'll work out the tonnage for you.
Can I collect it myself?
Yes. Tell us what you need and we'll have it ready at the yard; come with a vehicle that can take the weight. For bigger quantities, our tipper lorries deliver to site.
